The auction, held at the Grand Hyatt Dubai Hotel, featured 90 premium plates with two to five digits across codes AA, BB, K, L, M, N, P, Q, T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z. Super plates (BB 88) and (BB 777) drew particular attention, underlining the continued demand for symbolic and distinctive numbers.

Interested bidders are required to hold a traffic file in Dubai, submit a Dh25,000 security cheque payable to RTA, and pay a non-refundable entry fee of Dh120. Payments can also be made by credit card via the RTA website. A 5% VAT applies to the sale of all plates.

Registration was available online and at RTA’s Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, and Al Barsha.
